Security

How we protect your money, your personal information and your transactions.

Security is part of every transaction

Exchanging money safely depends on the right checks at the right moments. We build them into every step, so they protect you without slowing you down.

Some of these checks are required by Canadian law. Others are simply good practice for a business that handles cash, wires and digital assets.

How we protect you

  • Identity verification

Verifying who we deal with stops others from using your name, accounts or funds.

  • Careful cash handling

Cash is counted and checked in front of you, and every exchange is receipted.

  • Crypto safeguards

Addresses and networks are confirmed directly with you, with test transfers for large amounts.

  • Data protection

Your personal information is only available to staff who need it to serve you.

Protecting your information

We collect the information needed to complete your transaction and meet our legal obligations, and nothing more.

Protect yourself from fraud

Scammers often pretend to be exchanges, banks or government agencies. Knowing how we work makes impersonation easy to spot.

  • We will never ask for your wallet recovery phrase, private keys or online banking password.
  • We will never ask you to send crypto to “verify” or “unlock” an account.
  • We only give deposit addresses and wire details in person or on a call you placed to us.
  • Be wary of anyone who pressures you to act quickly or keep a transaction secret.
  • If an offer sounds too good to be true, call us before you send anything.
